REJEKINE. Typical nasal symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis caused by pollen from plants that light depends on the wind for pollination. Pollen from plants that rely on insects for pollination, such as Goldenrod and dandelions, too heavy to become air, thereby causing nasal symptoms directly only when the smell of plants.
This distinction is important because many people think Goldenrod, golden grass they see along the road in late summer and autumn, is the reason for their high temperature. However, this did not happen. In contrast, the sleek, shaped candles ragweed plants that are often found in the same area is the main cause of nasal allergies, chest and eye symptoms.
Weather conditions and time of day can affect the severity of symptoms. Ragweed are examples of plants that release pollen in the morning. The pollen is then carried by the wind. So it makes sense to keep bedroom windows closed at night during sleep and, if necessary, use air conditioning instead.
Windows open on windy fall morning provided an ideal setting for light allergy symptoms. Rain tends to clean ragweed pollen in the air, but increases the growth of fungi that can cause allergic symptoms in individuals allergic to mold.
Year-round allergic rhinitis symptoms can be caused by house dust, molds, feather pillows, blankets down, and animal dander. It is not uncommon to have symptoms of seasonal allergies and in the course of the year. Exposure to dust increases when there are many objects and clutter in the room. Bookcases filled with books is a typical place for dust to settle.
Nasal congestion, runny nose, itchy nose and sneezing episodes are often hallmarks of allergic rhinitis. Mucus from the nose is thin and clear, often run continuously. If the mucus changes color (like green or yellow), this indicates that there may be infection. In allergic rhinitis, nasal mucosa are usually solid, this can put pressure on the opening of the sinus, causing sinus pressure and headaches.
You can also put pressure on the opening of the tube eustachian, leading to ear, causing pressure on the ear. In addition to nasal symptoms, eye can be very itchy and watery and symptoms of asthma can flare. Postnasal drip from allergic rhinitis can cause symptoms of chest subtle, such as dry cough, which can be mistaken for symptoms of asthma.
Back to seasonal allergic rhinitis, as said before, the main cause is pollen in the air. Because of very small particles, they are not easy to prevent, except, perhaps, wear a face mask or scarf when outdoors. Because you are the mercy of time, your exposure is not likely to be reduced to the season changes, so your best bet really is to keep the attitude of prevention and precaution against a possible allergic reaction.
However, pollen allergies cause wear over time, eventually (usually within an hour or more) and not the main reason for alarm. Simply drinking plenty of water to wash the airway of particles and stay indoors as much as possible. The less open you are, the better the chances of instant recovery. OTC drugs may also help reduce inflammation caused by pollen allergy
