Methods of prevention of diabetes mellitus

primary prevention
Primary prevention is the effort devoted to people who fall into high risk categories, namely those who have not been affected by this disease but it has the potential to get it. Education plays an important role in primary prevention.

secondary prevention
Secondary prevention is an effort to prevent and inhibit the onset of the disease by early detection and provide early treatment. Early detection is done by screening. tertiary prevention
